I stopped procrastinating about it and finished building my new lightning node last night. It is running Eclair (thanks to
fishcake (npub137c…k37w)). I transferred some funds to it, opened a small channel to my old node for testing, and confirmed I can make payments. I need to do a little more testing before opening more/bigger channels but all seems to be working so far.
