I've been mostly trying to look at "normal" e-bikes, I guess - there just aren't a ton out there as far as I can tell, esp that aren't direct to consumer (I'd prefer to order through a local bike store). but I'm gonna think about the conversion option! lucky to have friends at the local bike shop to ask questions of
but yeah I think I wasn't prepared for how much these things are not like normal bikes, culturally (tho good to get ppl off cars) and materially
