I work nightshift, so I know stuff. Can relate.
- Try to get sunlight and fresh air during day. As much as possible.
- If your bedroom is not 100% dark and quiet, use a sleeping mask and earplugs.
- Make bedroom as cold as possible
- Take 1 mg melatonin with a "slow release effect" 60-30 minutes before bedtime.
- No phone / blue light exposure after taking melatonin.
- Shower or take a bath or sauna immediately before bedtime --> reduces bodytemperature afterwards + relaxes body --> makes you fall asleep
