The EU may not be responsible for much of anything power wise but they protect things with food purity laws. If you want to say that the individual countries are more responsible for that then I'll take your word for it. Either way it proves that it isn't the regulatory agencies that are the issue, it is the people paying them off and subverting them since Europe doesn't seem to have as big of an issue with that and their regulatory agencies that America does.

Capitalism is also to blame and European countries have culture/traditions that haven't been attacked as much, at least from what I've seen, as they have been in the USA so maybe that is also part of it. The racial solidarity of not allowing other races, even though they are also White, is something that is lacking in the USA as well.

Like your example with French and Italians not wanting something that isn't up to their standards being imported from Germany, America doesn't really do that because they would consider it racist. This results in trash from china, central and south america, etc. to be imported that isn't as good as it should be. I guess it's only okay to be racist against other Whites...

Hope France's situation improves. I'd really like to visit Europe someday. England, France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, and a couple other countries are on my list of places I'd like to visit. Especially England, Germany and France.
