Firstly, nostr is a subset of http. Namely the web sockets standards. So the web is a more powerful technology. Because, it is a super set.
Secondly, a provably censorshp-resistant way to use npubs has emerged, namely #pkarr and #pubky.
There's been little appetite to switch from nostr devs so far.
In short, the web is a revolutionary technology, and nostr is one small aspect of it. Much more can be done.
