Alternatively, we'd drive to the Redneck Riviera, the Mississippi-Alabama coastal area bordering the GULF OF MEXICO. We'd spend days at Gulfport or Biloxi, days swimming in the GULF OF MEXICO and eating seafood. For my parents, I suspect visits to casinos were also involved.
The GULF OF MEXICO played a large formative role in my childhood through vacation after vacation.
