I'm not all that pessimistic, FWIW. I wouldn't call myself a socialist, if I wouldn't believe that abolishing capitalism is feasible, within my lifetime.

I'm a huge fan of Solar Punk, exactly because I am in favor of optimistic extrapolation about the near future and believe it has power.

So I wasn't really trying to ruin the fun - I was mostly trying to make a joke.
