So even as I am searching with candles for left-wing, non-nationalist Jews in my community, seeing Jews wear ritual items at protests really rubs me the wrong way. Just show up as you are. The more ostentatiously Jewish you are at the protest, the less I'm going to assume that you're that Jewish the rest of the time
