idk i think python got 1000x more reliable and easier to use once i stopped having to use pip and started using distro packages...
You're giving this take at the same time as we're seeing more and more supply chain attacks exploiting exactly this model (where the language comes with a package manager).
They usually have a lower standard of entry, worse UX, completely fail to provide support for linking against libraries that were built for other languages (*points at rusy -sys crates with custom build systems*).
I think [@hipsterelectron](https://circumstances.run/@hipsterelectron ) has some crazy ideas for this, at the very least not having everyone reinvent the wheel would be nice
