I wanted to buy a new pair of shoes when I was in high school and pointed out to the retailer that, hey, I could buy them for $20 cheaper at the mall. He laughed at me and told me to go to the mall then.
Now, Amazon will provide goods for cheaper and deliver them straight to my door and the local retailers who are struggling to compete cry "shop local".
