But City Hall has created a context when people getting hit is just much more likely - the parklets contribute, where they interfere with daylighting, but the collapse of any police efforts on moving violations is a much bigger issue, I think. Neither should be tolerated. There should not be a "grace period" for restaurants to comply with public safety needs.
