my paternal grandfather’s family thankfully left Lithuania before WWI. The Russian losses in WWI were blamed on the Jews and we are sure his parents died when Jewish Lithuanians were marched to new locations, of course their neighbors got their possessions.
Any time I hear of relocating people I assume for evil purposes and greed.
