Her sister, more tech savvy than she is, sent her a PDF of something. Opening this PDF required her (I think?) to log in to a Microsoft web page or "create a free account!" which was probably beyond her abilities. The simplest solution was to tell her sister to send the PDF in a different way.
3. Sherry had an Android phone with the worst popup problem I'd ever seen. LOUD pop-ups too, some of them were sweary. Could not reboot phone into safe mode, had about 90 seconds before pop-ups started.
