I want to follow the modern path and make a pintable Schwarzbier with a slightly roasty touch but I think, some Munich malt and its sourdough bread crust flavors should be in there too. Therefore, the grain bill is:

* 50% Pilsner Malt
* 45% Munich Malt
* 5% Carafa Special 2

I use the special variety of Carafa because it is de-husked and should give the beer only some nice roast flavors of chocolate and coffee without any of the astringency that would be present in a Stout.
