There are companies now—including many or most of the great tech giants—that are willing to leave a problem unsolved and ultimately lose some customers rather than provide even a last-resort fallback channel to a human being. They rely entirely on automated systems—now powered by chatbots. They often provide surveys at the end, allowing the customer to express extreme dissatisfaction, but still, they'll let the customer go. (2/2)
