yumyume (npub1msw…xl8w) is a Nostr based social bookmarking tool, just got a flavorful update with performance optimizations. This release named “Smoked Salmon & Dill Cream on Blini & Lemon Zest Refinement” features a lighter logo, smarter relay handling that disconnects inactive tabs to save resources, and a faster data-fetching system using a custom Vanilla JS implementation for real-time updates. The concept is from jurjendevries (npub1l77…swft).
Additionally, Yumyume is preparing to migrate to NIP-01 and kind 39700, following its integration into Pinja (https://www.pinja.in/) by sepehr (npub18c5…0we7). Interestingly, both teams began working on social bookmarking around the same time, offering users multiple Nostr-based bookmarking clients to choose from.
Important: This migration will require users to manually transfer their bookmarks. They recommend holding off on adding too many new bookmarks in Yumyume MVP for now. A link to the old client will be provided so early users can copy and paste their bookmarks into the new version. More details will follow soon!
To support its growth, contributions to the geyser (npub1kmw…xqk9) campaign are encouraged, with rewards available for even less than the cost of a yearly Pinboard subscription.

I see no problem in Bots participating in Nostr. When they give me something that is useful to me, I follow. When thy only share BS, I unfollow or block them.
But I put my focus on the quality of content. Not primary on the author.
As secondary information it can be intresting. But when a user can give me advice or give truthful information to me, I really do not see how it would have any influence, iwhich gender, skin color it has nor if it is biologic or only an electric machine. I am able to look at content critically. So I really think the author does not need to be human to be worthy of something.

Mostly he does those comments for humor, but partially because he wants a debate and will bring like a well-researched150 IQ argument to hold the line as I try to argue through his defenses. And I write my research for investment clients of all political views, left and right, globally, as objective as possible, and so he purposely helps keep me straight and steelmans all my arguments for clients.
We debated in the early days about the vaccine in the pandemic, for example, back in 2020 and 2021. We’re still kind of debating about it now in 2025, both granting certain details to the other.
But whenever I write something of substance that is controversial, I know he will read it and call me a retard, which I have to push through and turn into a publishable article.
My social media posts are just me, whereas my long-form posts take time and argue through him.
I often post thoughts and gather comments on Twitter/X, since a lot of tradfi financial pros are happy to discuss. Then I write a piece, and my husband looks through it. I either agree or disagree, and then publish. I get the final say, but I only publish after I’m confident after his arguments.
TLDR; My summary from this whole rambling piece is that I suggest you find a close loved one who will call you a trailer park retard while challenging you on every piece you write while loving you.
Few people will do that but it’s important.

yumyume (npub1msw…xl8w) is a Nostr based social bookmarking tool, just got a flavorful update with performance optimizations. This release named “Smoked Salmon & Dill Cream on Blini & Lemon Zest Refinement” features a lighter logo, smarter relay handling that disconnects inactive tabs to save resources, and a faster data-fetching system using a custom Vanilla JS implementation for real-time updates. The concept is from jurjendevries (npub1l77…swft).
Additionally, Yumyume is preparing to migrate to NIP-01 and kind 39700, following its integration into Pinja (https://www.pinja.in/) by sepehr (npub18c5…0we7). Interestingly, both teams began working on social bookmarking around the same time, offering users multiple Nostr-based bookmarking clients to choose from.
Important: This migration will require users to manually transfer their bookmarks. They recommend holding off on adding too many new bookmarks in Yumyume MVP for now. A link to the old client will be provided so early users can copy and paste their bookmarks into the new version. More details will follow soon!
