Mallard (nprofile…sdc4) RSS as a forum transport would suck pretty hard, especially if the post count rises above semi-dead. As for Xitter similarities, it's a frontend thing. Current Fedi threads can be split into sub-threads just fine, but most frontends (and especially dogshit phoneposter software, looking at you Husky) ape Twitter's style very hard.
