Speaking of things that only sorta kinda work, I speak from personal experience on all these examples, and am currently dealing with the oven that just stops heating. It’s getting worse; the oven stopped heating during pre-heat FOUR TIMES* it usually only happens once, and even then, not on every occasion).
*I am not asking for advice, but if you recently bought an oven, I’d be delighted to hear what you think of it, as we eventually want to replace ours.
