This is also why I think stuff like Framework is nothing but current century snake oil sellers, as they don't sell sustainable hardware, they simply sell hardware that is more convenient to c0ns00m, as it allows the end user to replace a few proprietary pieces with a modular design, the fact they released a desktop machine with embedded SoC should prove that they're full of shit on their PR, because of course they would.
