I understand. I'm def not saying you shouldn't talk about the issues. I guess I'm just as dumb as the person in your original post because I am happy when people find themselves. For you and many others that means transition. I would make the same mistake in celebrating you for who you are not where you came from. So I try to gain that understanding by asking questions. How do you want to be celebrated? Or is it less about celebration and more about acceptance?
