The danger of PR is that you'll end up with lots of little parties bickering eternally so nothing ever gets done, or when it does, it's watered down so much that it's next to useless. See Italy for what happens when you get lots of little parties who are forced to work together. At the end of the day, there are left leaning groups and right leaning groups, just like now.
