Why won't Labour (really) entertain a shift to proportional representation?
Since 1945, under First Past the Post, when Labour has won, it has won big - much more than the Tories... looking at this, what Govt. would think to themselves we need to change the electoral system.
It looks unlikely (although I'd be very happy to be priced wrong) that voting reform will gain any traction in this Parliament, whatever the smaller parties might hope for.
