The plant DNA could heal when damaged because of it being organic. It retained moisture from the air and it could keep the inside cool in hot weather, very much like being in a forest in summer. With enough layers, the fibrous nature was much tougher than wood, and it was malleable enough to move without breaking during strong storms.
I can actually envision cities in the future being built this way, that is if we are able to survive. 3/3
