I mean, does nobody else think it's dopey that we make school students dress like office workers in the admin department of a Soviet-era button factory? Then, just to compound the dopey, we're now trying to come up with Soviet office uniforms suitable for students who are Māori or Pacifica or non-binary or Muslim or [insert identity category here].
Why not just drop the whole thing and let the kids wear what they want, within a reasonable dress code (eg wear clothes).
