I'm doing the worst possible thing and using an instance that has like, zero features. But I've looked at that software and found... some good stuff, but nothing like displaying timelines as a list of profiles with 3 posts each, so nobody can post too much in a given timeline. Other stuff too, like ordering profiles not just by most recent post, but giving a higher priority to slower posters... downloading and caching posts locally so I can search through them... I'm glad if some instance has techniques to help people actually be social, but that's what I'm looking for: techniques to help people actually be social.
