It was a hybrid conf and as a speaker I got an invite to a speakers’ reception, and when I asked if that meant there were remote participation options, they were all, oh yeah no. Our talks weren’t on the schedule or streaming in an in-person room; they were only really advertised to remote attendees. This was in no way clear until shortly before the conference.
