I want to contribute my time and resources to Freedom Tech. How can I get involved? A little about me:
I joined #Nostr just over a month ago and am still getting the gist—and learning more each day—about Freedom Tech thanks to all the contributors on the platform and beyond. I want to be a part of the movement.
Eight months ago, I left my corporate job as an Engineering Manager/Producer for a AAA video game studio due to a challenging work environment (mainly because of my clueless boss). Despite my love for what I do, the video game industry's shift toward prioritizing profit over product quality has been disheartening. Since the beginning of 2024, I have been exploring new opportunities, but the saturated job market has been a challenge. I am still passionate about making video games and am hopeful about finding a studio or organization that aligns with my values.
In the meantime, I have ample free time that I'd like to put to good use. While I don't code, I have 17 years of experience in software development management, including working with QA, stakeholders, publishers, first-party developers, and end users. I can assist with managing your backlog, building a roadmap, allocating resources, tracking bugs, supporting customers, testing the software, etc.—whatever helps you focus on coding.
