¢нαяℓιє яσσт :arch: :openpepe: 🌶️ (nprofile…68an) Goalkeeper (nprofile…g20v) Völkisch Observer (nprofile…0hjw) Tyler the Enginigger (nprofile…msu3) mixxx is amazing. i work on sound projects with linux (lmms and now reaper) and depending on the distro there's going to be sharp-edges and fuckery to deal with. i've had good experiences using nixos and alpine on thinkpads using a realtime kernel based off of 6.10.x upstream and not a lot of problems in that area.

the wayland thing, it's long overdue but it still feel like ipv6 (good in concept but not really there yet). with the current implementation feeling like i have to duct-tape things and customize to get my flow back (i3/x).

i'd like to get a bsd box going with audio stuff, but my choice in that area is openbsd and i'm not sure it can handle some of the stuff i work with, but i'd have to answer this by spending a week trying it.

as for the configuration mentioned. i'm sort of a creature of habit. once i get my configuration in a good spot i don't touch it. i script up the bootstrap/rebuild process once and never have to mess with it it again.
