Don’t become emotionally invested in your choice, just because you put them in office doesn’t mean you need to support every action they do. You need your objectivity. You don’t need to defend them. You made a decision at a moment in time based on the information you had, not a lifetime commitment. They will have some dumb ideas, the rest of us need you to call ‘balls and strikes’ not be a cheerleader for “Team Red”
