yes i understood that those weren’t your words but tommy robinson’s. i was just saying that what he said was stupid because talking about muslims as a whole when there are 1.5 billion of them in the world makes no sense. also claiming that there's a culture of rape or gang rapes because rape is supposedly allowed is completely false.
and yes sorry for stating the obvious, but I sometimes see things on twitter that should be obvious but aren’t. like during the time when everyone was talking about the algerian boxer iman khelif, there were people saying, 'oh she's a man because she doesn't wear a veil, if she were a woman living in algeria she'd be required to wear one,' which is completely untrue. i think there are only about three or four countries in the world where women are actually forced to wear the hijab: iran, afghanistan and saudi arabia.
i agree with the idea that Israel and people like tommy robinson are trying to legitimize a potential attack on iran saying that iran needs to be saved but of course that’s fake. If they really wanted to help the iranian people where were they two years ago during the protests?
BUT on twitter you see a lot of pro-zionist, pro-israel iranians. i’m not sure if they represent a significant portion of the population or just a minority. I think their leader wants israel’s help to overthrow the current government and become the new president.
