From a glance, like $2.2 to $3 million for a mustang. It’s a mystifying selection to me. Like, he only thinks that deal makes sense because he picked one of the WORST piston singles around, if that’s how much it costs. I’ve only met 2 operators of a columbia, haven’t heard much good, and I assume they suck because cessna killed it off pretty quick.
It’d be like, buying a jaguar or something then writing off all Inline fours because of it, then jumping directly into a BMW thinking you’re free from overpriced maintenance. Homie should have bought something like a Piper JetProp. Those are pretty sweet in terms of performance per dollar, at least.
This is just…..insanity. Like, I wanna talk to this guy and just get a feel for how crazy he is, because there’s no way sane people would hear this and think “nah man smart move, jumping into a jet with 1,000 of unsupervised solo operation, very cool…oh, only like $20k per month? Radical man, genius!!!”
