of course it’s possible to recoup installation costs, I’m not against BEVs in any way, but for some people, perhaps the majority (ATM), fossil fuel is the only viable/practible solution for their personal transport needs, be that due to financial restrictions, or practical solutions such as being able to charge at home, and I suppose I was just trying to point out that a £7k BEV would be more expensive for a first-time buyer.
