"content": "The ability to charge overnight for 7p/kWh (Octopus Go tariff) soon recoups the price of putting in a charger. Alternatively, if your car comes with a ‘granny charger’ lead you can plug into a 13A socket. Just get a weatherproof socket installed outside on the ring main. They only charge at 2.2kW but if you’re plugged in overnight then 30kWh is about 120 miles of range, again at domestic overnight tariff.",
