This is golden coming from someone who started off programming by making a discord bot in discord.js. (no I am not joking, but prior to that i was handed a C++ book for game development that went way over my head). It has been a good couple of years since I have touched javascript *at all* and after being in C, C++ and C# development for so long... It's incomprehensible. The only things I can really make analogies to are things like Javascript Promises essentially being the equivalent of C#'s async Task. (or, C++20's coroutines). Javascript is very interesting to me... Personally I don't like to write in it, but I do not look down on those who make cool things out of it. If anything I am impressed at the way they are able to take what appears to be a broken tool and make something *good* out of it.
