I see writers trying to incite anger about USB-C (sort of) by calling it the “third” time Apple has changed connectors for the iPhone. Of course, it’s the second change. The iPhone arrived in 2007 with the 30-pin dock connector already in use by the iPod (replacing the previous FireWire port). Lightning appeared in 2012. It’s 11 years later, and Apple is *EIGHT YEARS* into its USB-C transition, starting with the 2015 12-inch MacBook.
