The #ThunderScan Power Port™ floppy power thief adapter pulls +5v (pin 2) and +12v. However, it doesn't seem to use +12v via pin 6 as expected-- it's pin is missing on the Adapter Box cable.
My cable:
DE9F DB25M
1 -> 7 GND
2 -> NA +5v
4 -> 20 TxD+
5 -> 2 TxD-
7 -> 6 HSKi
8 -> 19 RxD+
9 -> 3 RxD-
For power:
Connect +5v to DE9F pin 2.
Connect GND to DE9F pin 1.
I used a USB cable. No power to DB25.
