Now that I know it works, let's try it on the #AppleLisaClone. First problem is the Lisa's serial ports are DB-25. So we need to adapt some things.

Let's look at some pinouts. Here's the DE9 from the Mac/Mac Plus, the Mini-8 from the SE+, and the DB25 from the Lisa.

Notice the Mini-8 has +5 and +12 and the other two don't? We'll need to inject power some other way.
