Alby hub is incredibly complicated for a non Bitcoiner. Technically there is no difference between Albyhub and a full node.
In fact, I run my Albyhub on my existing Lightning node using my existing channels. It's great, but it's a layer of complexity above Lightning.
Definitely a great end point, I love what the Alby guys are doing, but also definitely not a start point.
