If only we had something outside of human control yet integral to human coordination that we could all anchor to in order to achieve stability?…. And wouldn’t it be nice if by connecting to this magical external locus of stability was most efficiently done on an individual basis thus driving all of society to a state of stable equilibrium in which archaic and corruptible bastions of collective power witnessed their foundation erode commensurate with the degree to which individuals freely opted into this more stable and efficient state?
