The argument about the #Brexit vote's constituional legitimacy was about before the referendum.
It was an advisory referendum, NOT a vote leading to Brexit. However, with the #Tories being in power, they forced Brexit upon the #UK, as being the "Will of the people". If it was, they'd have had a confirmatory vote which they did everything to avoid.
Amongst all of this was the supermajority argument, but did any Tories push for this? No! Because it didn't suit their Brexit agenda.
