The most obvious thing about this space is that it's open, airy, and non-depressing. The second most obvious thing is the lack of seating in the main waiting room (though there is a seating area and also a food court).
This was shot with the Rodenstock 23mm/5.6 HR Digaron-S lens, an extremely wide lens that was only just wide enough to capture the expansive hall. I shot this from a balcony, looking north, on a cloudy day (hence the even lighting).
