So on the one hand that means a lot of the remaining Wagner main officers will be military craftsmen, rather than the blend of diplomat and politician and administrator that western senior officers are.

This means they may find it hard to organise what is basically a political task - an opposition to being absorbed into regular forces, or another PMC.

But this also means they'll likely be hard to force into the underlying role that the regular forces would expect them to play.
