One concept that I think it's useful to really get is this: society is against you, in terms of staying healthy by eating well. Specifically in regards to eating habits, you're constantly surrounded by foods that are, evolutionarily speaking, "hyper novel". Stuff like cheetos, twinkies, etc. We don't handle that well at all. And most food companies are making money by selling goods that are literally addictive. Lays potato chip ads used to say "bet you can't eat just one". Now that it's obvious that most people can't, they don't use that type of ad anymore.

What I've found useful for myself are the following habits:

- I weigh myself every day, and write it down on a handy chart
- I avoid almost all higly processed foods. I eat and make foods that your grandmother (maybe great-grandmother) would have recognized.
- I realize that if I do what everyone else does, I get what everyone else has, which is about 75% (probably more now) obesity and overweight.

I think this is easier for bitcoiners, because they already have a lot of skepticism of existing institutions.
