that’s absurd? Everyone should be paid/compensated for the labour they put into a big project. There is zero point in arguing over who “deserves” payment over others. A designer asking for payment for their labour only mean they assume everyone else also gets paid. If the foss project is a passion project then you have to say that or you will attract ppl looking for an actual paid job.
