Plus the fluff is a mess, we have to vacuum the a/c coils a few times each season. After an ice storm you can really see the difference between them and almost anything else. There's always a huge pile of limbs that look perfectly healthy on the ground.
Try a Northern Catalpa next, they grow fast and even when small produce such large leaves they put off a ton of shade.
