Here is a good old web server, addressed by a public key, and the connection is encrypted using TLS ... public keys can take what works and make it sovereign, but it can't magically decentralize what is inherently resistant to decentralisation because of its scale.

We should take our Ws, maximise them, be realistic about the limitations, accept that some stuff will always be centralised, try to make them competitive and move on.

This is only an important topic, because often, the desire to make global search decentralised is the enemy of making the low hanging fruits sovereign.
