Tapir (npub100z…w3l7) I'm not going to lie some of this is the shelters' fault I remember as a kid my family tried to adopt a dog and the process was so unreasonably long, expensive and overcomplex my parents gave up and bought a puppy from a local (and highly reputable) breeder, because it was cheaper. Then the shelter wrote a sob piece about how people were so cruel because they didn't want to go through a 9 month long, nearly thousand dollar and highly invasive adoption process.
