The hospital sent me home with a prescription for oxycodone for pain relief. I've used it before, but that prescription was paired with another for nalaxone (Narcan). The hospital said it's standard policy now, they want you to have an antidote on hand if you overdose on the opiates they prescribe.
Something about that made me question getting either prescription filled at all, so I'm making do with OTC analgesics for the moment. Hope I don't regret it, but I guess I can change my mind later.
