If somebody thinks your ankh eyeshadow or your ripped leather jacket or your relaxed-fit jet black jeans in August are cringe, that was your decision, you have to own it. You are putting an æsthetic presentation of yourself out in the world and letting yourself be judged. In the case of a mall goth, at the *mall*. You are not at a goth convention. It's not a safe space.
