Also I basically have two types of people in my ear, one is the Linux crowd, telling me to use wine and cook up this super complex and possibly unstable computer setup for my workflow, and on the other hand I have Apple users telling me I'm not being serious about my craft by using Windows. So from my perspective it's all very tiresome. I'm a very busy person and some software bug or kink (like a wine update breaking my ya-bridge VST setup) can be devastating for my workflow getting tracks finished, then I have to rollback wine versions, it's really messy and time intensive.
